Postcards from the past

Sometimes its the littlest things in life that make me happy. Today its these postcards my Mum found at the back of a cupboard she was cleaning out. They're different traditional costumes from around Greece, badly machine embroidered onto cliched reproductions of watercolours of the local landmarks. And yet I love them. They have a certain beauty to them...the charm of the cheap souvenir...the nostalgia of someones happy sunny holiday. It all rubs off on me and has brightened my day considerably. Hope you enjoy them too!

Hope you don't mind me popping in here. I've been reading your blog for a while.

Those postcards are so cheery.
